I have been an artist for many years. In addition to the making of art in a variety of forms, my art activities also have included teaching as an Instructor at USCAD, as a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Saskatchewan, an Adjudicator through OSAC, a Mentor in the CARFAC Mentorship program, and the illustrator, researcher, and binder of two self-published books, My ABC Book ...Wild Creatures ... Weird Facts, and We Are All Animals. I have recently self-published a not-for-profit book called Bewildered by Loss ... Invisible and Forgotten Lives of Animals in the Face of Our Indifference, the proceeds which are given to organizations which ensure happier lives for animals. My dog and I operate as a Therapy Team to help others. I have a Master’s degree in Fine Art and a Master’s degree in Education in Counselling.
